Project Description:
Lindbergh & Associates provided structural design for a ten million dollar home on Kiawah Island. Floor, wall, and roof framing consist of wood and/or truss joist systems. To resist wind loads, steel moment frames were utilized at the back of the house where large windows are typical. Auger cast piles were used for foundation support per the owner’s request.

- Pool foundations and supporting walls
- Monolithic slabs on the first floor porch
- Corbels supporting the edge beams of the slabs
- Emergency generator vaults including:
- Walls
- Floor slab
- Foundations
- Ceilings
